Introduction

By accessing the internet site of Senior Golf Exchange (SGE), every user agrees with these Terms of Use.

User Conduct

  1. Members are responsible for creating and maintaining their Member Listing and Property Listing, for keeping their contact details up to date, and for arranging their exchanges with fellow Members.
  2. All Members agree to not post or transmit any material which is unlawful or in any way inaccurate, misleading, offensive or inappropriate, or which, without the written approval of Senior Golf Exchange, contains advertising or any marketing of products or services.  Any such conduct, if continued, will result in the suspension, or permanent withdrawal, of membership rights of SGE, with all Membership Fees being forfeited.
  3. The SGE internet site contains copyright material and proprietary information, and the entire site contents are protected by copyright laws.  Members may download copyrighted material for their personal use only.
  4. Members shall not make available on the SGE internet site any material protected by copyright or trademark.  It is the responsibility of the User to determine if such copyright or trademark protection exits.
  5. All Members agree to keep their Member Log in details secure.  SGE is not responsible for unauthorised access to Members Listings.

Refunds

To ensure we provide our Members with the most stringent internet security protection, once Membership rights are granted, and contact with fellow Members facilitated, no refunds or partial refunds will be authorised.  Membership fees are non-refundable once payment is processed.

However, if due to unforeseen circumstances, a Member needs to change their Member Listing to “inactive” for an extended period, we will extend the Members Renewal Date on receipt of a written request to do so.

Limitation of Liability

SGE is not liable for the accuracy of the content of Member Listings and Property Listings, nor for the arrangements agreed between Members.

SGE is not liable for any damages, accident, injury or loss, direct or indirect, which may result from the Members’ activity of arranging exchanges via our internet site.

SGE is not liable if Members do not achieve an exchange during their Membership, beyond the Terms of our Membership Fee Guarantee which states “If for any reason a Member is unable to arrange either a Home Exchange or Hospitality Exchange within the first twelve months of Membership, we will extend your Member’s privileges for another twelve months without the payment of further fees, provided your Member activity log confirms at least one attempt to initiate an exchange.”

Monitoring

SGE has the right to monitor all content within their site, including posts to the Member Forum, and in its sole discretion may refuse to post, or to remove, any material which contravenes the Club Constitution, Member Etiquette or these Terms of Use.

Changes

SGE has the right at any time to change the wording of these Terms of Use, including the creation of new terms.

These changes will be effective immediately they are posted to our internet site.  Further use of the site constitutes acceptance of the changes.
