Club Constitution

On the back cover of the Rules of Golf, the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews provides this advice

“Play the ball as it lies

Play the course as you find it

And if you can’t do either, do what is fair

But to do what is fair, you need to know

The Rules of Golf”

This sentiment is equally applicable to the Club Constitution and Member Etiquette of SeniorGolfExchange.com.  To assist Members to determine “what is fair” we have written the Club Constitution for your guidance.

  1. Senior Golf Exchange is a Private Members Club with the mission to facilitate Home Exchange and Hospitality Exchange – for Senior Golfers worldwide.
  2. The rationale driving Senior Golf Exchange is to provide more exclusive, exciting and diverse golf travel experiences for our Members, not just to save on the golf vacation costs normally associated with accommodation and meals, vehicle hire, equipment hire and green fees.
  3. The selection of Senior Golfers as our target micro-niche is in recognition of the benefits of demographic compatibility between potential exchange partners.  Senior Golfers appreciate the “sense of community” with other Senior Golfers worldwide.
  4. Member Etiquette, which in essence requires all Members to treat other Members and their property the way they wish to be treated, is non-negotiable.  Member privileges will be suspended or permanently withdrawn where the spirit of this commitment is not practised.
  5. Membership of Senior Golf Exchange is designed for individuals and couples committed to actively seeking Home Exchange and/or Hospitality Exchanges as a golf vacation option on, at least, an annual basis.  Membership is not transferable to other individuals or couples, but file updates are encouraged to recognise changes to the Members’ residence.
